When I first started scrapbooking I used to buy every piece of pretty patterned paper but I was on a budget. The fun thing with stamps and a couple of ink colors is that you can make your own designs and change them. For this layout I made my own custom tags using the Handmade tags stamp and die set.
There are endless possibilities to create your own backgrounds and embellishments.
I also jazzed up one of the stamps from the Super Script Scrapbook stamp set by stamping it in two colors: permanent black ink and Citrus Burst. It is a fun way to change the stamps.
Below you can see how the whole layout came together ( YouTube in HD.)

Hello Altenew fans! Enza here to share a birthday layout with you today. My original idea was totally different from what I have ended up creating. I went from cupcakes and traditional birthday desserts to a bouquet of flowers! How I did that I don’t know. I just know that I really love how this page turned out.
Hello Altenew fans. This is my first blog post featuring the new Relfection Scrapbook Kit. I am loving this kit more and more everyday. It is so beautiful and unique.
For today’s layout I decided to use the Super Script Scrapbook Stamp and die which is PERFECT for titles on scrapbook layouts.
To add flow and a visual guide I cut out some petals from one of the patterned papers in the kit and scattered them over the page.
It is so easy to make a cluster of embellishments with the elements in the kit. You even get die cut flowers so you don’t have to get out your die cut machine. Perfect if you are short on time but you still want to create. The feather was made using a feather stamp from the Happy Dreams stamp set. I really love this set.
For the title I used the word TODAY from the Super Script Scrapbook stamp and cut it with the coordinating die. Easy!
You can see the whole process how the layout came about in my youtube video which you can view in HD on YouTube or below.
Thank you so much for stopping by and see you later this month.
Hi there! It is Flora back with a new 12 x 12 scrapbook layout. This time I used the brand new Super Script Scrapbook Stamp Set and the Bold Blossom Stamp Set. I was extremly happy to recieve the new Super Script version as they so useful for scrapbooking. I was thinking how to use them first time and decided to use all on one layout.
After this I added blush and navy mist splashes. These colors also coordinate with the colors of the photo. (It is very important match the colors of the photo with the entire layout if you want to make harmonic project.) That time my background was ready to embellishing.
I created few DIY die cuts with the Bold Blossom Stamp Set and heat embossing technique. I used only the leaves outline stamps, VersaMark ink and gold embossing powder.
I fussy cut the pretty golden leaves with a small scissors and they were ready to use.
I added gold stickers, navy and blush enamel dots and few chipboard pieces to embellish the scrapbook page. Considering the theme of layout it is a strange mix: fall and baking. The reason is: these are the very first muffins of my 9 years old niece and we took the photo outside surrounded by gorgoeus fall colors and nature.
That was it today! I hope I could inspire you to try the Super Script Scrapbook Stamp Set or the Bold Blossom heat embossed leaves or at least to bake muffins. 😀 Thanks for stopping by and Happy Halloween!
