Hello Altenew fans and welcome to another day of inspiration. Today I’m sharing a layout that I created with the Engineers rule Stamp set. This is such a fun stamp set and will work well on cards and on layouts. Some say it is perfect for boys but I think it is perfect for girls and boys, especially those who are or want to be engineers.
Now, in my case I’ll be using it to make a layout of one of my boys as I have 4 of them. It isn’t a layout with an engineering theme just one about my youngest son who just brightens our lives.
- Start stamping a background. I used the 11100000111 stamp and stamped it several times in the center and repeated it once on the top border and once on the bottom of the left border to create flow. The ink used is Limestone from the Rock collection.
- Then add some details using Permanent Black ink. Add some color with the layers that come with some of the stamps. I used a hint of yellow and blue. (Fresh Lemon Crisp Ink and Dusk Crisp Ink)
- Add your photo and pick a title
- Instead of embellishments use the tiny stamps on the set. I just love those little screws and even though they are really small the detail is amazing.
This layout was so easy to make and I think it took me all in all 15 minutes and I only used stamps, white cardstock some ink and one patterned paper from the 6×6 Reflection paper pad.
If you have any fabulous ideas with this set please do share. I’m always looking for new techniques and ideas.
Have a lovely day and HAPPY SCRAPPING.
Welcome. Today I’m sharing a layout which was inspired by the wreath I made for the Build-a-Flower release. I wanted a modern version of it for a summer vacation layout.
I started of by cutting out a circle in some white cardstock. Then I used two of the leaf dies from the Fantasy Floral 3D die set and cut out the shapes all around the circle.
From the Reflection Scrapbook Collection I picked out a colorful patterned paper and placed it beneath the cut out cardstock. To add some detail I took out the third leaf die and cut out leaves in similar colors. My confetti punch was also put to good use. Some white leaves add pop to the page and break up the colored center.
Here is a video showing the whole process. You can watch it just below or in HD on YouTube.
Have an amazing day and happy scrapping.
Welcome to the second day of our September Release Blog Hop.
Isn’t this month’s release amazing. There are so many wonderful products. I decided to create some non holiday themed projects: a layout and a card.
For my layout I decided to use the Halftone nesting stars die set. I cut out stars using my large big shot which can take a 8.5*11 inch sheet of paper. I then picked out a patterned paper from the Relfection Scrapbook collection and placed it beneath. A couple of white stars popped onto some foam dots add dimension and detail.
My second project is a card using the Coffee with a Spalsh stamp set. I started by stamping and embossing one of the stamps. I used the Altenew Antique Gold embossing powder and the blended some pink ink over the top. (Cherry blossom oval ink set).
There is so much inspiration to come. Our DT members and guests have created amazing projects.
For a quick run through of all of our new sets please check out the video over on YouTube.

Hello Altenew fans. Today I am sharing a layout created with the Altenew Reflection Scrapbook collection and three die sets: BOLD ALPHABET DIE SET, HALFTONE HEARTS NESTING DIE SET and SCRIPT WORDS DIE SET.
How I used the sets:
These three sets are such fun to use as such and they don’t require any stamping. I cut out several LOVE words, hearts and the whole alphabet. The love words are cut out of regular smooth white cardstock and the hearts were cut out from a patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook collection. For the Bold Alphabet letters I opted for some Altenew Cherry Wood. This is a thin slice of wood which is perfect for die cutting.
For embellishments I pulled out some Altenew enamel dots and also hand cut some flowers out of one of the patterned papers that come in the Reflection Scrapbook collection. To finish it all I made some splatters using some PINKALICIOUS CRISP INK.
You can see how I created the layout in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Hi Ladies! Today Flóra is back with a tropical layout what I created with many amazing Altenew products. I used an unusual color palette for my page, the combination of blue and coral.
First, I created many leaves using the Parrot Paradise and Totally Tropical Stamp Sets. I used Deep Blue Seas Oval Set. For the base layer I chose Sea Breeze Crisp Dye Ink and for second layer Tide Blue or the vibrant Starlight Crisp Dye Ink.
I stamped three different flowers from Totally Tropical Stamp Set using Peach Perfect Crisp Dye Ink and Rouge Crisp Ink. After the stamping work was done, I fussy cut all the elements with a small scissors. I trimmed a wide paper stripes from the blue polka dot patterned paper from Reflection Paper Pack. I placed this on a white cardstock and over my 4×6 photo. I created three clusters from the flower and leaves cut outs. I adhered some of the elements with foam tape to add dimension.
I love how this page turned out. I hope you also like it and inspired you to create something fun with the same color palette. Thanks for stopping by! Flóra
Hello everyone!! Kymona here to show you how to create a fun layout title.
Let’s take a look at a fun layout title:
Welcome everyone. In today’s blog post I’m going to share a layout that I created using the Faux Veneer stamp. I was immediately draw towards the triangle shapes want to use those to add color and “texture” to the page. The Faux Veneer Stamp set is a perfect set for scrapbooking, card making and can even be used if you are a planner addict.
I planned out where I wanted to put the photo before stamping. I stamped to the right hand side working my way up towards the top right. Then I matted the white paper with my stamped triangles onto some fushia cardstock to make it pop of the page and placed that onto a white background.
For texture, I used some doilies from my kitchen and added some buttons and twine. To create flow I opted for some Altenew Shimmer Spray ink in Frosty Pink.
You can see how the whole layout came together in this video (watch it in HD on YouTube here.)
