Hello everyone!! Kymona here to show you how to create a accordion mini scrapbook using the pattern paper from the Altenew Reflection Scrapbook Kit.
Let’s take a look:
I’m always looking for different ways to showcase my photos. While I was trying to figure out what I wanted to create, a light bulb went off in my head. I remember creating an accordion tin book a couple of years ago for my sister who was away. It made me think, I could make the same book without the tin.
So I did just that!!
Here’s how to create this accordion mini album:
Decide on the pattern paper you want to use.
Cut them to 4 by 4 and round the corners.
To make the pages stiffer, cut heavy weight cardstock to adhere between the pattern paper.
Set those pages aside.
Now lets make the accordion piece.
Cut a piece of black height weight cardstock to 4 by 11.
Using a scoring tool, score at 1/2″ until you have 10 score lines. Cut your cardstock one the eleventh score line.
Fold on each score line creating the accordion fold.
Add each page onto one of the folds using strong adhesive.
Cut another piece of black heavy weight cardstock to 4 by 1-5/8, scored at 1/2″ and 1-1/8″.
Adhere the binding cover to the back of the book using strong adhesive.
Photos that are smaller then 4 by 4 will fit in this scrapbook.
Then use the stickers in the Reflections Scrapbook Collection to decorate the front of the book.
Let’s take another look:
Creating this accordion mini album was easy and fun. So what do you think? Would you create a accordion mini album using the pattern paper from the Scrapbook Kit? I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by!!
