Scrapbook Layout Happy with Reflection Scrapbook Collection. By @Sandra for @Altenew

Create a fun summery scrapbook layout with the Reflection Scrapbook Collection from Altenew.

Welcome to a new scrapbook layout inspiration on the Altenew Scrapbook Blog. It’s me, Sandra, and I’m sharing a clean and simple 8,5 x 11 inches scrapbook layout with the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. The photo on the layout shows my son at the beach. He covered parts of his body with sand. And then he said “Hey mom, my legs are gone…”. I just had to capture this moment. And I love his smile on the photo.

Let’s look at the details

I would like to show you some of the details you can find on the layout. First, I used a fringed paper strip border at the top. I cut a small paper strip from one of the blue papers you can find in the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. Then I used fringe scissors to add a fringed look to the paper strip. Finally, I glued the paper strip down with double-sided tape.

Second, I added one of the fun frames from the Reflection Scrapbook Collection. I used strong double-sided tape to glue down the frame onto the photo. Also, I added buttons, chipboard stickers and a wooden veneer next to the framed photo.

Then, I added a title with the black alpha stickers and also some journaling onto the scrapbook layout. Finally, I added a handcut border to the bottom of the layout.

Looking at the layout makes me want to go to the beach immediately. Isn’t it great that we can keep memories in such an artsy way as scrapbooking?! When you look at the photos on your memory-keeping projects, the moments captured come back in a blink. And that is why I scrapbook. To treasure moments and to keep them alive.

Have a great day,
Sandra
